Our old system was about 12 to 13 years old or older and the electric bill was going out of site. Danny came by and inspected our unit and said that basically it was worn out. He also noted the shoddy work done on the previous installation and several other factors. We eventually decided to go with a new unit Trane Heat Pump. The result has been wonderful. Our winter as you know was a little chilly, but we stayed nice and warm and the unit ran on very few occasions. The result was a savings in our electric bill of almost half so far. We are extremely satisfied with the unit so far. I can also say with great gratitude that I have never experience the kind of expert timely and professional work like this at my home ever. Very dusty renovations using a jackhammer were performed at a customer's home with AprilAire air cleaner system installed and customer provided pictures of the VERY dirty filter with a SPOTLESS coil.  The proof is in the pictures:
